Simple web design for a simple budget, why complicate things?

Gosh I don't know where the past couple of weeks have gone, all of a sudden we're at the end of May!

It's around about this time of year that work starts to get really hectic and the past few weeks have been no exception. One of the major projects I've been working on before the half-term break-up I can finally talk about now it's out in the wild!

The Post 16 department decided that this year they didn't want to get their graduating students silly little token gifts, instead they wanted to give them something meaningful that hopefully they will take away and use. With that in mind they asked all P16 staff to contribute to a recipe book for students. The book consisted of recipes, comments and a few photos from the staff and it was my job to design and put it together (luckily somebody else did the hard work of editing and sorting through the content!).

This was a full on Indesign project and I got to really start to learn the power of the program as I did it. Indeed all of the things I have learnt from the past few editions of the school newsletter were definitely put to good use along with lots more! Here's a little peak at the finished product - we're hoping to put it online at some point in the future...
