The Professional Side
I'm an experienced IT Specialist working in a busy department within the education industry whilst also freelancing as a social media manager and content creator.
My strengths lie in content creation although I have a large technical background in PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS and Javascript. My day-to-day job involves managing the digital presence and marketing for a secondary school: Designing and maintaining the website; creating marketing materials ranging from prospectuses and flyers to branded merchandise; and overseeing data systems. I also produce promotional videos and provide staff training materials for platforms such as Office 365.
Current Projects & Freelancing
My current projects involve extensive work with Microsoft 365 (PowerAutomate and PowerBI) and the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and InDesign). Recently, I have taken full ownership of the school’s social media provision - creating, scheduling, and analysing content to drive engagement and support wider recruitment efforts.
Outside of my primary role, I have been freelancing for many years. While I began in web design, my recent focus has shifted toward graphic design and visual marketing. This includes work for a local allotment association, environmental community groups, and an ongoing creative partnership with The Malcolm Whales Foundation.
Across my work, I have a proven track record of increasing brand visibility - including achieving growth of over 200% for key projects - by simplifying complex communications into engaging, accessible content.

Beyond the Screen
Outside of work, I'm a mum of two children, a wife and the owner of a iq challenged Springer Spaniel. I enjoy cooking, gardening and photography. I am at my happiest when I'm being creative, and I think this largely drives the work I undertake for my clients.
I hope my colleagues would describe me as a problem solver; whilst I might not know everything, I strongly believe I can learn anything given enough time and can remove obstacles with this knowledge!
